    The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, popularly known as AIIMS, is a group of autonomous public medical colleges in India that strives to impart top quality medical education to the numerous aspirants from all over the country.

    AIIMS colleges in India are regarded as the primary and the best medical institutes in the country and are a dream of every medical aspirant. AIIMS colleges have been bestowed the tag of the ‘Institutes of National Importance’ by an Act of Parliament.

    At present, there are 15 AIIMS colleges in India that grant admission to MBBS courses offered by them through the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam was conducted on 25h May and 26th May 2019 in an online or computer-based mode. Thousands of candidates apply for the AIIMS MBBS exam every year to live their dream of studying at AIIMS colleges in India of their choice. However, it requires a lot of preparation and guidance to crack the AIIMS exam since the AIIMS MBBS syllabus is very vast and requires a lot of determination and patience to prepare effectively.

    The main aim of the AIIMS institutes is to make medical education affordable and reachable to people from all strata of the society. Ranking of AIIMS colleges in India with their location and total intake below. Total 1200 MBBS Seats available in 15 AIIMS Colleges.



    Seat Matrix means the total number of Seats available in all participating Colleges for a particular course in different Category and different Quota. Generally the Seat Matrix is Published or Released by respective counselling authorities, Seat Matrix released for each academic session as the number of seats keeps on changing every year. Seat Matrix Is one of the most important factors affecting NEET Cut Off as the fewer number of seats lead to higher Cut-Offs. So Seat Matrix helps the candidates in selecting the right College and right course according to the availability of Seats. 

    The Present Year Seat Matrix has not been released until now by the respective authorities, for the time being candidates can check the Last Year Seat Matrix  for reference purpose.  

    In India total 15 AIIMS  offering MBBS Course and in all 15 AIIMS total 1207 MBBS Seats available  as on June 2020

    AIIMS, New Delhi

    • The 100 (Hundred) seats for Indian Nationals and 7 (Seven) seats for (Foreign Nationals) are available for admission to MBBS course. Out of these, 15 (fifteen) seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes, 8 (eight) seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes, 27 (twenty Seven) seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes and 50 (fifty) seats for General Category for Indian Nationals. A 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) as per provision of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 shall be provided on horizontal basis, amongst the seats available subject to evaluation by the Medical Board of the Institute.

    Fourteen other AIIMS

    • In the eight AIIMS (viz: Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur,Rishikesh, Mangalagiri and Nagpur) with intake of 100 students each and 50 students each  in six new  AIIMS Bathinda, Gorakhpur, Kalyani, Rae Bareli, Deogarh & Telangana with reservation policy followed by 7.5% ST, 15% SC and 27% OBC, for Indian Nationals. A 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) as per provision of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats available. Subjected to Medical fitness by Medical board of the Institute.



    Indian Nationals:

    The dues are to be paid in cash immediately, after you have been declared medically fit in the Medical Board of the Institute as per details given below:

    • Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability
    • The above payment is to be made in Cash. Please Note that Cheques, Drafts, Money Orders etc. will not be accepted in any case, Extension of date for payment of dues will not be permitted in any case.

    Foreign Nationals:

    • Tuition fees of US $ 75,000/-(divided in 3 equal installments for Pre-clinical phase, Para clinical phase and Clinical phase of MBBS course) will be charged from the foreign national students admitted to MBBS course at AIIMS.


    AIIMS 2020 MBBS Cut Off College-wise and Category-wise

    AIIMS 2019 MBBS Cut off Marks and Cut off Ranks for all AIIMS colleges: All India Institute of Medical sciences, New Delhi releases the MBBS allotment and admitted list after each Round for all AIIMS colleges for admission to all MBBS seats. AIIMS MBBS 2020 cutoff has been prepared after the Counselling conducted by AIIMS New Delhi. Based on the MBBS allotment list released last year, All India Rank Cutoff Range has been arranged based on the Category for each college. Table below reports the AIR cutoff range for MBBS seats in all AIIMS colleges released by AIIMS, New Delhi for 2019 admission. This information possibly will help students to make the correct choice filling during the AIIMS Online MBBS 2020 Counselling Process. AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling was conducted in four Rounds including an open round and additional spot round will be conducted subjected to the vacancy of MBBS Seats. Aspirants called for counselling from each category will be four times than the number of seats available.
